Savannah House Wine Country Inn & Cottages

This place is really cutely decorated with such nice touches, e.g., they left the TV on at check-in with relaxing music and the little electric heater/fireplace thing on:) It's a great location with lake views and there are tons of good hiking places around. Super clean, comfy beds, cozy vibe, and the one owner I met was a lovely guy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful room, love the ceiling fan, cold AC, beautiful view of lake from patio, so peaceful. Enjoyed the suggestions of places to go and the books. The coffee was awful -maybe because we used tap water. Bathtub and shower with good pressure. Nice chairs in room. Will definitely be back. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. For the price bottled water in fridge would be a nice touch. Love the actual cups for coffee or tea.

We stayed here for the weekend and our room upon entry was very clean. The decor and music was very serene beachy theme. The details, I can tell; is from staff who really care about their visitors. Everything in our room worked properly. The patio area, a view of the lake and the area in general is relaxing. Our host Jeff lives on the premise attentive, friendly and enjoyed the fire we had the last night we stayed. We accidentally left a few items in our room and Jeff sent them to us. So kind and helpful while we were home away from home. Can't wait for a third visit to this spot.

This upcycled motel is a charming getaway with beautiful views and top notch service. The exterior is rustic, and the rooms are light, breezy and cottagecore, extremely clean and in excellent condition. Each has a private balcony looking towards the beautiful view of the lake. The on-site owner/manager, Jeff, is extremely responsive and accommodating to anything you might need. Great location for eastern Seneca, convenient to WG and Geneva, 30 minutes to southwestern Seneca, short drive to Keuka and Penn Yan. A very comfortable stay in a locally-owned lodging that feels homey and welcoming.

We stayed in the luxe suite room 9. Absolutely gorgeous location. Had a balcony overlooking the lake, a beautiful jacuzzi tub inside, and plenty of serene quiet nights. Bed was very comfortable and the host was a very nice man! The room had a full living room, dining area, and mini fridge and microwave. We will be back thank you Savannah Cottages for a fantastic vacation.

This is my 2nd review in 2 days. We just got back home from the Savannah House and we already miss the serenity of it. Our room was perfect, spotless, nicely furnished, and very quiet and cozy. Jeff, was an amazing and wonderful host and informative of things to do, and places to eat. The most hands on, accommodating person we've ever dealt with. It was our 1st time there, but definitely has moved to #1 on our list of places to stay! Thank you Jeff and staff for making our vacation a lasting memory.

My wife and I have stayed in the Finger Lakes several times over the years! As I write this review, we are currently staying here at Savannah House Wine Country Inn and Cottages! I usually write my reviews after leaving an establishment, but I needed to take a few minutes to write this review, while we are currently here! Today's date is September 22nd, 2025. This place is amazing! Each cottage has its own small private patio overlooking Seneca Lake! The grounds are beautiful, with Adirondack chairs, benches, and small trails that wander throughout the property, along with a fire pit to sit and relax! Let me talk about Jeff, the owner/manager of this establishment. He is one of the kindest, most communicative persons that we have ever encountered, as a host of any establishment we've ever stayed at in here in the Finger Lakes! It seems that he is always present here on the property! He was here for us when we checked in yesterday at approximately 3 PM, and this morning, at 8:30, he was out talking to one of the residents in another cottage. I ended up speaking with him briefly! Again, he has been here for every inquiry that we've had since arriving yesterday! We met him within five minutes of entering our cottage upon our arrival, and he was nothing but friendly and helpful in making sure that our stay was very comfortable. He didn't rush us, instead , he spent all of the time we needed to have all of our questions answered! Before even checking in, we received a text from him, asking us to let him know that we checked in and everything was fine! He was quick to answer all of our inquiries regarding the finger, lakes, and areas where of where we might get close to the Seneca Lake itself, so we can enjoy the beauty of the lake upfront and personal. Keep in mind, that most of the roads that lead down to the lake, are private property, which do not allow visitors, who are not guests, access to their property. So Jeff telling us where we could go to a close by marina to take in the beauty of the lake, was an excellent bit of information It seems that whatever we needed, he was right there and on top of everything! As far as the cottage, it is extremely clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated! We couldn't have asked for a better choice of a place to spend our four days As I sit here at the cottage, overlooking Seneca Lake, on a beautiful sunny morning, I know that if we needed or required anything at all, our host would ensure we were satisfied! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautifully, clean cottage, with spectacular views! Finally, let me say this............Regardless of which reviews are posted on any website, regarding this establishment, there are always people who are going to complain about the smallest things. We have zero complaints about this property, its owner, or the area. It is perfectly located in the center of the east side of Lake Seneca. Making it very accessible to the wine trail. We are definitely staying here again, and if possible booking our next stay before we leave on Thursday. My wife and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a perfectly peaceful getaway, close to everything that they would want, with regards to the finger lakes. Very nice rooms at reasonable price. Private patio was great. Nice view of lake. Very close to many wineries and hiking etc. Would def recommend
